Our Halal Verification Process

Trust is earned when it comes to dietary requirements. Discover how we physically verify and audit every establishment listed on our platform to ensure complete peace of mind for Muslim travelers.

Step 1: Ingredient Sourcing Check

We personally visit the restaurant's kitchen and speak directly with the head chef and purchasing manager. We verify the invoices and sourcing documentation for all meats to ensure they come from a certified Halal supplier in Poland or Europe.

For establishments that serve both Halal and non-Halal items, we ensure that the Halal meat is securely segregated in separate refrigeration units.

Step 2: Cross-Contamination Audit

Sourcing is only half the battle. We conduct a rigorous inspection of the food preparation areas to ensure strict separation. This includes verifying that the establishment uses:

  • Separate grills, pans, and fryers exclusively for Halal food.
  • Separate cutting boards and utensils.
  • Dedicated staff training regarding cross-contamination.

Step 3: Alcohol-Free Cooking Environment

While some of our listed restaurants may have a separate bar area serving alcohol (which is standard in European tourist spots), we ensure that absolutely no alcohol is used in the marination, cooking process, or sauces of any dish designated as Halal.
