Rusinowa Polana is one of the few places where the "Kulturowy Wypas" (Cultural Grazing) tradition is officially protected. From May to September, a head shepherd known as a **Baca** lives on the meadow with his assistants (Juhasi). You can visit their traditional wooden hut (**Bacówka**) to watch the ancient process of making *Oscypek*—the famous smoked sheep's cheese.
