Day Trip & Adventure Writer
Based in Wroclaw, Poland • Exploring southern Poland since 2019
Zainab is a Moroccan-born travel writer who moved to Wroclaw to work as a translator and quickly became a regular visitor to the mountain regions of southern Poland. She has covered day trips, river adventures, and family-friendly outdoor experiences across the Tatra, Pieniny, and Beskidy ranges. Her writing emphasises practical planning for Muslim families, with detailed attention to halal food options, prayer facilities, and modest swimwear policies at the destinations she reviews.
Zainab discovered Dunajec river rafting on her first autumn trip to the Pieniny and has since completed the route five times across different seasons. She writes about outdoor adventures with the perspective of someone who travels without alcohol, needs access to prayer facilities, and frequently plans trips around family groups with young children and elderly relatives.
Before writing for ZakopaneHalal, Zainab contributed day-trip guides to several Polish travel publications and maintained a personal travel journal covering Muslim-friendly destinations across Central and Eastern Europe. She holds a degree in Translation from the University of Wroclaw and is fluent in Arabic, French, Polish, and English, which gives her direct access to both local and international sources when researching her guides.
Zainab completes every trip she writes about in person. She does not rely on promotional materials or operator-supplied itineraries. For adventure and day-trip guides she checks booking procedures, transport options, and halal food availability herself, and revisits routes seasonally where conditions change significantly between summer and winter.
